About this place
Toryu’s signature soup noodles, named after the restaurant, come topped with stir-fried meat, seafood and vegetables. One diner described the soy sauce-based broth as having a hint of doubanjiang, a fermented chilli bean paste. It stands out among the noodle dishes for anyone looking to try the house speciality.
Diners have praised the grilled gyoza for their crisp, crunchy texture, and some have enjoyed them with chūhai, a shōchū-based drink. Beer and other alcoholic drinks are also available, making gyoza and a drink one way to put together a meal.
For a more substantial meal, there is also a ramen-and-fried-rice set. One diner who tried it found both the ramen and fried rice light in flavour. Toryu also offers lunch menus, including mapo tofu, sweet-and-sour pork and a daily special.
